The ITB is one of the largest and most important trade fairs for travel in the World. It’s not only for Germany, but it’s also international!
It will be overwhelming for first-timers! It will be overwhelming for those who have done it before, even more so if they aren’t organized. This event is great for networking, and travel dudes love it.
ITB travel is a must-go for us! 4-8 March 2020
Twenty-six halls represent the World, and some halls have 3-4 levels. You can even find 3, 4, or more bus lines that take you from one hall to another on different routes.
It is easy to get lost. I have successfully used the ITB Travel app to help me find my way. You should be more organized if you are looking to meet new people. Take a look at the map to see where each country is located before you make any appointments. It can take up to 30 minutes to get to your next appointment.
It would help if you allowed time between appointments. Don’t make too many appointments in a day. You can also be smart about setting up your next appointment. Try to keep it in the same place as the first.
Tip Use the park as a shortcut to your next meeting. You don’t need to go through crowds to find the park located in the middle of the exhibition. You can also easily find your way around the exhibition since each hall has large signs posted on its walls.
ITB travel should be not only a requirement for the industry but also for professional travel bloggers.
ITB Berlin is now in its eighth year. This means that the conference will be focusing on the new, up-and-coming industry. ITB Berlin offers many interesting workshops, presentations and discussions. Most of them will be found in the eTravel World (hall 6.1).
Two stages will be available: the travel Stage (hall 6.1) and the eTravel Laboratory (hall 7.1.1c). The eTravel Lab will host workshops, and there will be discussions and innovative sessions in the eTravel Stage.

Tip – Come to ITB on Tuesday to meet up and have a chat with colleagues and friends. It’s closed to the public for three days, but you can get from one hall to another much quicker than the other. However, the exhibition is still open to the public on the third day.
Many people leave Friday morning, just before ITB Berlin officially opens its doors to the public. It gets so crazy that you stop trying to hold any successful meetings. You will find hostesses at the stands, and your opponent will be tired from the days before you organize a meeting. You want to get to know them and do business with them.
There are also some helpful webinars that you can view ahead of time. These webinars are available for trade visitors as well as exhibitors. You can view them free of charge.
Where to Stay: While visiting the ITB, there are many great places to explore Berlin’s neighborhoods. Expect heavy traffic to the ITB. A few hotels offer a shuttle service to the ITB. These hotels can be found here. There are also many hostels, boutique hotels, B&Bs, and apartments for rent.
