School Presentations

Kadoo Tours also offer an ‘in-school’ power-point presentation exploring subjects such as Indigenous understanding and harmony, the invasion or colonization question and indigenous expression and how they connected to the land. We will happily work with teachers and the school’s curriculum to give students an interesting and fun indigenous experience without leaving school grounds.

Tim will share with students how his tools and weapons were made and used, explain his Dreamtime and mythology and how his people were the ‘Caretakers’ of this ‘Mother Earth’. We look at the changes that came with the arrival of the ‘white man’ and how the indigenous population of Australia were forced to adapt and still survive to this day. Students will take place in an ochre ceremony and be given the chance to interact with handmade tools, weapons and animal skins.

Presentation Cost:

$8.00 per student

Presentation length:

1.5 hour

Minimum/Maximum Students: 50min- max unlimited
